The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is in discussions with English Premier League club West Ham United on a potential partnership to promote Thai tourism, a senior official said. On 17 March, Nithee Seeprae, TAT deputy governor for marketing communications, said in a Facebook post that the agency had held talks with the London-based club about possible activities for the 2026/27 season. He shared an image of West Ham’s home shirt featuring the “Amazing Thailand” logo. Nithee said he visited the club at London Stadium in London to meet executives, including Nathan Thompson, executive director for commercial, marketing, digital and content, and a member of the club’s board. The discussions explored potential promotional channels through the club’s platforms, including displaying the “Amazing Thailand” logo on the men’s first-team kit for the 2026/27 season, as well as exposure via LED screens and static signage around the stadium. Other ideas include organising on-ground promotional activities outside the stadium and inviting players or club personalities to create content in Thailand. Nithee said the project remains at the negotiation stage and no agreement has been finalised.
