Senate gives nod to ex-Land Transport boss to join EC

The Senate on Thursday approved Chirute Visalachitra, former Department of Land Transport director‐general, as an Election Commission (EC) member and rejected Monthol Sudprasert after hours of closed‐door vetting on Thursday.
