Local doctor to receive WHO award

Director of Umphang Hospital in Tak province, Worawit Tantiwattanasap, will receive the United Arab Emirates Health Foundation Prize 2026 in recognition of his humanitarian service and sustained efforts to expand healthcare access for vulnerable populations in remote border areas, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced.
